More foster mom gifts!!!

Ok..so clearly Addison had the BEST foster mom in all Korea, because she sends her little gifts and things all the time..even though we've had her home for over a year and a half!!  She can clearly read minds too because the gifts she sent Addison LOVES!!  As you can see, she sent Addison a bunch of stickers, which Addison LOVED, and used generously!

She sent her this cute little bracelet..and Addison loves jewelry.

Oh!  Here is Addison's sticker creation!  So nice ...and abstract.

She also sent her this cute purse with her FAVORITE cartoon character; Minnie Mouse, whom she calls "tootles."  As you can see by her expression...she loved it!!!

 More love!!!

She also sent her hair barretts.  (We alwasy need those!)

...and a note for us (in Korean..no translation!?!?!)

 If you speak/read Korean...I'd love a translation!!!  :)

Here are some more hair things she sent us.  Sparkly little hearts!

Oh!!  ...And this is Addison telling me shes done with all the photos.

Foster mom gifts!!

Addison's sweet foster mom in Korea mailed her some early Christmas gifts!
Here are two Korean books for her!
Here is the letter she wrote us.
Addison was going through all the things in the package.
Here is the letter..need a translation though?!
She sent her these cute hair things.
You put them over little buns on either side of her head and the little braids hang down.

Here she is looking at her books in her room.

Thanks SO much!!!  We love the gifts!

Update & New Photos!

We were so excited and surprised to receive an update & new photos!  We couldn't believe it!!!  The report says Avery is at a 9 month developmental level, so only a month behind.  She is creeping/crawling, waving bye-bye, playing pat-a-cake, has two teeth, and has starting eating cereal.  She currently weighs 18.5lbs, and is 27.95 inches which means she is pretty little still!  The photos show ehr with the care package we sent her!  Were so happy she got our gifts!
I'm assuming the lady holding her is her foster mom.  So sweet.

I think this photo was taken at the foster mom's home.  It doesn't look like a Holt photo or room.
Here she is wearing the outfit Nick bought her.  It fits perfectly!  (Which means she is wearing 9 month old clothing)

We got mail!!!!

Addison's sweet foster mom sent us a care package!! We were so excited! She included a cute hat, mittens, and scarf for Addison, and also two Korean children's books. She also sent me little sock/slippers for my feet and all the boys got wool gloves. I've been trying to catch them to get a picture but they are always wearing them so I haven't gotten one yet. Mark says they are absolutely the warmest gloves he owns. He's worn them every day since he received them.
Here is Addison with one of her books. I have them put up on her dresser so they stay nice. I don't want her to rip them up. She just loves books!

Isn't that little wool mitten adorable?!
Thank you foster mom! We are so thankful for you! We really wish you lived much closer so we could visit you!

We Got Mail!!!

Yesterday, I found a large package in my mailbox from Holt. Inside it, I discovered some WONDERFUL gifts & a letter from Addison's Foster Mother. I was so moved by her generosity and obvious love for Addie. SHe truly is a great woman. I'm so thankful Addison was in her care! God's hand was, and is on our daughter. (and us!) Ths basketball socks in the photo above are being wonr by Drew. He loves them!
These Mario socks are Jack's!
Here we have some postcards with photos of Korea, Photos of Addison when she was living with her foster mother and another pair of socks.
She also sent this cute dress and some darling hair bands and other accessories.
Here are some house slippers for me. They're perfect for summer! (very light and comforatble)
Here is Addie wearing some of the the bands. I love the strawberries!

And Nick claimed these Puma socks as his own. The boys all love the socks. They say their "Korean" socks are "nice and tight, light and far more comfortable than the ones I buy at Wal Mart." Hummm.... Am I now to special order their socks...(No way!)
Thank you Foster Mother! We SO appreciate all you sent! Thanks you for the nice note! We hope you and your family are well. You're in our prayers!
