Easter 2017

We were super excited for Easter because this year we were able to keep Aliah!  It was WONDERFUL having her here.  Nick wasn't able to come home, which made me sad, but we did see him last weekend!

NOTE:  Videos are at the end of this post!

The girls couldn't wait to eat their Easter candy for breakfast!!  Its the only day of the year they are allowed to have candy for breakfast.

Joy & Easter baskets!

Aliah got some little books in her Easter basket and was reading them with her Daddy.  Notice the chocolate on her face!!

She was very curious about the contents of everyone's baskets!

After going through the baskets and enjoying candy for breakfast, we got dressed up in out Easter best and headed outside for our annual Easter pictures.

The sweet girls!!  Love these babies!

Playing peek-a-boo!  So adorable!

A little more peek-a-boo!

Addison & Avery ended up tickling each other -  clearly they had enough standing and posing!

I love this picture - its my favorite!

Avery's expression of pure joy in the picture reminded me of this verse:
"..in your presence there is fullness of joy; at you right hand are pleasures forevermore."
(Psalm 16:11)

Aliah was trying to move them over.  She wasn't thrilled with my placement!

Aliah was trying to be in the middle of everything!

My kiddos!  Love them!

Later in the day, we went over to Sheri's for an Easter egg hunt and dinner.  By this time Aliah had caught onto the egg hunting thing!

Waiting for the hunt to begin!

Getting as many eggs as possible.

Aliah was busy watching the drone and she wasn't a fan AT ALL!

Baby Emmy!  One-year-old!

All the cousins!

Mark was showing everyone his new, and yet cool drone toy.

The teens!  They were so excited for Easter pictures!

My friend's daughter, Cory, made my girls this amazing slime!!  Thank you - they loved it! (My carpet, however, did not love it)

May we shout for joy over your salvation, and in the name of our God set up our banners!   -Psalm 20:3
