Nick's Concert

Nick is in a singing group at his high school called New Generations.  It is the school's top chior made up of about 25 kids.  Its a show chior so most of the numbers are chorographed.  He was thrilled to make the group especially as a sophmore since it is primarily upper classmen.  He had his first concert earlier this month and here are the photos!  (I'm a proud momma!!!)

 Nick is, of course, playing football...has been since 3rd grade.  He still looks great all suited up!  I love it!  Here are some photos of one of his JV games.

Nick's 8th grade Graduation

My baby, (AKA: Nick: my fourteen year old, first born son) had his 8th grade graduation last night. I can't believe I'll have a child in high school in the fall! Here are some photos of his last day at middle school. (I teach at his school, hence the many photos...I swear I wasn't stalking him!)

I was able to read the names of students in Nick's row, so when I read his, I had to stop and hug him. He said I could as long as I didn't cry or kiss him. I behaved.

Nick's Gift to Me

Nick created the following video for me as my Christmas gift. Its very well done and thoughtful. In fact, I liked it so much I cried. Enjoy.

"Nickus"

Here is my oldest son Nick. He loves the Texas Longhorns and has a burnt orange room! He has Alopecia Areata, which is an autoimmune disease that caused his hair to fall out. He is completely healthy; he just has no hair! We love rubbing his bald head for luck and his friends like to write on it with Expo markers!
