Spring Break Fun!

We took a few days to go up to the Great Wolf Lodge while the kids were off for spring break. They have an indoor waterpark and plenty of other kid-friendly activities. Here are some photos of our fun!

Here is Addison going down one of the slides. She loved the slides and all the water! She would go up the stairs all by herself and then go down the slide alone too! She was so brave! (I was really impressed because last summer, she wasn't a big fan of the water and always had a death-grip on me!

Here are all the boys in the hot tub. We brought a cousin along so Nick would have another teenager to hang out with.

Here is little Addison! She absolutely loves having her picture taken.

Help Japan

I was very moved by the devastation in Japan. I would love to jump on a flight and go serve food and help in a tangible, hands-on way, but that door is not open for me right now. I can however help in a small way. Samaritan's Purse, the organization that delivers Christmas shoe boxes all over the world, was on the ground in Japan shortly after the disaster. Here is a blip from their website about their relief efforts:

Samaritan's Purse has airlifted 93 tons emergency aid to Japan to be distributed by our disaster relief team working in the devastated coastal area around Sendai, the closest major city to the epicenter of the deadly earthquake and tsunami. The supplies arrived Saturday, and are scheduled to be transported to the affected area by U.S. military C-17 cargo planes Sunday.

Not only are the Japanese people obviously suffering, the tsunami hit one of the least evangelized area of the country, according to Samaritan's purse, so our prayer should be that people's hearts are opened as Believer's come to meet their immediate physical needs. I also pray that you might be inclined to give generously to help aid those suffering in Japan.

Random Stuff

MArk painted Addison's nails. (I think he did a very good job!!) She kept showing them to me all evening and then I would have to tell her how pretty they were. It was a fun game.

Drew didn't want me to photograph him. I did it anyway.

Jack fractured his pinky right near the growth plate in his basketball game Saturday. Now has to wear a big 'ol splint for 3-4 weeks. No baseball for him for a while.

He was also thrilled to be photographed. :)
