Addison's Dance recital. 6/2/18

On Saturday, June 2nd, Addison had her annual dance recital.  Its definitely the highlight of her year in dance and she loves the costumes and performing.  Here she is with her friend, Amara.  They not only do dance but they're in school together.

Nick's College Graduation

Nick graduated from Pittsburg University on Saturday, May 12.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  I am SO proud of his hard work and dedication.

Its a tradition at Pittsburg State to ring the bell at the Belltower after a student graduates signifying they're DONE!  Heres the infamous belltower.

Nick's Army Commisioning

On May 11, 2018, Nick successfully completed his ROTC program at Pitt State and we were able to go watch him be sworn in as a second lieutenant in The US Army. It was such an honor and a very moving ceremony.  Above is the entire group of cadets that took their oaths.

We had the privilege f pinning his lieutenant strips on his dress uniform - he made me practice beforehand so it would go smoothly and you'll see by the video below that it was successful!
